At Bixler Consulting, we believe it is important to weave community giving into the fabric of what we do. You'll find us around the Kansas City areas serving first responders, volunteering at church, speaking out for women and supporting local organizations through charitable donations. Here are a few that are closest to us.
Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA)
MOCSA's mission is to improve the lives of those impacted by sexual abuse and assault and prevent sexual violence in our community. They work tirelessly to help victims become survivors. Jessi is an active volunteer serving as a Board Member, event committee, advocacy group and speakers bureau member.
Kansas City Data-Driven Marketing Association
The KCDMA is an alliance of Kansas City marketers that is dedicated to promoting successful, data-driven marketing by offering valuable educational opportunities and connecting local, like-minded professionals. Jessi has volunteered her time serving on committees for three years and the board of directors for two years.
Coldwater of Lee’s Summit
Coldwater is a faith-based nonprofit centered in Lee's Summit, Missouri with a mission is to build friendships that foster hope in the community while providing food and clothing for those in need. Bixler Consulting is a regular sponsor of the Mark McDaniel Golf Tournament and Jessi and her family volunteer at the Friends of Coldwater pantry.
Operation Gratitude
Operation Gratitude annually sends 200,000+ care packages filled with food, entertainment, hygiene, and handmade items, plus personal letters of appreciation to Veterans, First Responders, New Recruits, Wounded Heroes, their Care Givers, and to individually named U.S. service members deployed overseas and their families waiting at home. With the help and support of her community, Jessi organizes an annual drive collecting and sending leftover Halloween candy to be used as packing peanuts for troop care packages. The first year alone she sent nearly 90 pounds!
